When to submit IGNOU solved Assignment?

The students have to submit the Ignou solved assignments within the time limit mentioned in the assignment booklet.The university do not charge any late fee for accepting the assignments. The students have to submit their solved assignments within the specified date. Otherwise, their submission of assignments will not be accepted after due date.

For most of the courses, the Ignou assignment submission last date is 31st October for the students who are going to appear in the December Term End Examination.

The students who have to appear in the June 2024 Term End Examination can submit their assignments by 31st March 2024.

It should be noted that assignments should be submitted only at the concerned Ignou Study Centre and not at the regional centre.

Is it mandatory to submit IGNOU Assignment ?

The answer is “Yes”. It’s mandatory to submit solved assignments at concerned Ignou study centre for the courses which requires it.

Without submitting the Ignou assignment solutions, students cannot complete their course. 30% marks of assignments are added to the total marks of any course. In final marksheet, the 30% of assignment marks and 70% of theory marks are added for the course.
