Ignou form for Obtaining Photocopy of the Answer Script – After the declaration of result by Indira Gandhi National Open University, If the students feels that they have not been awarded the marks according to the efforts they have made in the respective examinations, then they have an option to apply for Obtaining the Photocopy of Answer Scripts.

Students can obtain the application form to obtain the photocopy of their answer sheets from the programme guide or prospectus or they can download it from the university official website. The applicants need to make the request to get the answer sheet’s photocopy on the prescribed application format.

The application form needs to be submitted within 45 days from the date of declaration of result. The detail about the address where form and fees are required to be sent is mentioned in the form itself.

The applicants also need to attach the self attested photocopy of the Identity Card with the application form. Otherwise, the form of the student will not be entertained. The students who wants to apply for photocopy(ies) of the answer script(s) can also simultaneously apply for the re-evaluation of their answer sheets, if they so desire.

Fee for the Photo Copy of Answer Script: The fee for the photocopy of the answer script is Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) per course. They need to submit the fees along with application form to the concerned Evaluation Centre in the prescribed format along with the required per course in the form of Demand Draft (DD) in favour of IGNOU payable at the city where submitting the form.

What to do after receiving the Photo Copy of Answer Script? After receiving the photocopies of their requested answer scripts, the students should check their answer sheets and check whether their answer sheets was properly evaluated or not.

If they find any answer being not evaluated or error in the totaling of marks, may point out the same and submit their representation along with a copy of the answer script supplied to them within 15 days.
