Ignou Division Improvement Form

The Indira Gandhi National Open University provides an opportunity to all those students who fall short of 2% marks for securing 1st and 2nd Division during the completion of their Bachelor’s and  Master’s Degree programmes. Students can apply for Improvement in their Division/ Class by filling up Ignou Division Improvement Form.

Students can apply for improvement to increase their percentage but the improvement has been allowed only for term end theory papers and not for the practicals. Also, Ignou improvement online option is not available at present. Students have to do it manually by downloading application form from the official website.

How to apply for Improvement in Division/ Class?

The students who desire to improve their performance in the theory papers to increase their percentage may apply on the prescribed application format. They need to submit the application form along with the prescribe fee.

Ignou Improvement Exam Fees

• For Indian students, the university has set up fee of Rs. 750/- per course to fill up application form to improve Division/Class.
• The students who belong to SAARC Countries have to pay Rs. 2000/- as an application fee.
• $60 is the prescribe fee for Non-SAARC Countries Students.

The Demand Draft (DD) has to be drawn in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi. The applicants need to submit the application and fee to the Registrar, Student Evaluation Division, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi – 110068.

Last date to fill up Ignou Division Improvement Form

The students who wish to apply for improvement in Division / Class in June examinations need to submit their application form along with fee during 1st April to 30th April whereas the applicants filling the division improvement form for December examination has been required to submit the form during 1st to 31st October.
