The learners who are interested in joining Master of Arts in English programme of Indira Gandhi National Open University have to pay the total fee of Rs.14600/-. It’s a two-year master degree distance learning course. Recently, the university has updated the Ignou MA English fee structure for both 1st and 2nd year. The fees we have mentioned here is updated.

The applicants do not need to pay the complete fee during the time of admission.The fee has to be paid @Rs.7300/- per year.

How to pay Ignou MA English admission fee?

Earlier, there were two ways in which the applicants could pay their programme fee. There were two modes of payment of fee which depends on the method of admission. I.e. Online or offline.

At present, the university is offering admission via online mode only.Therefore, the learners have only option to apply for admission and pay exam fees i.e. via online mode.

Now, the learner has to choose the online method of admission only. They have to pay the fee online by making use of their credit/ debit card.

Reimbursement of Fee in Ignou

In case of students belonging to categories of SC, ST and physically challenged, the full fee has to be paid at the time of admission. But the university provides the opportunity to learners of these categories to apply for the scholarship.

The students can collect the application form from the Social Welfare Department of the State, and submit the same duly filled-in, through the Regional Director for reimbursement.
