The Indira Gandhi National Open University has published the notification related to the admission in Master of Business Administration (MBA) (Banking & Finance) for July 2018 session. The IGNOU offers admission to MBA (B&F) in Collaboration with Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF).
IGNOU MBA (B&F) programme has been designed and developed collaboratively by IGNOU School of Management Studies and the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF), Mumbai.

It has been introduced in the university specifically for Indian Bankers who want to pursue the Master of Business Administration management programme in distance education mode. This course is offered by university all over India through its Study Centres.
The university provides the admission to MBA (Banking & Finance) twice in a year i.e for both January and July academic sessions. So, it’s the time for admission in January academic cycle. The applications have been invited from the eligible candidates from all over India.

- The last date to request for prospectus by post is 25th June 2018
- The last date to submit application form at concerned Regional Centre is 15th July 2018
Ignou MBA (Banking & Finance) Courses & Syllabus
The students have to study the total of 21 courses in all to complete the programme. These include 11 Basic Courses, 5 Specialisation Courses, and 5 Integrative Courses. The project course is equivalent to two courses.

1) Obtain Ignou MBA (Banking & Finance) Prospectus 2018:
The first ever step to apply for admission is to obtain the latest Student Handbook & Prospectus. The candidates can get by three different methods:
- Downloading from Website
- At Regional Centre
- Requesting it by post

2) Submit Ignou MBA (Banking & Finance) application form and programme fee:
To apply for admission, the candidates should fill up the application form and submit it to the nearest Ignou Regional Centre along with the requisite fee and required documents, like the qualifying certificate of CAIIB.
In case of downloading the application form online, the candidate has to submit the filled-in application form in the regional centre along with programme fee and a DD of Rs.1000/-, in addition to the programme fee.
